My career in the welding Industry started fresh out of high school back in the 90’s. Destind to ether be a drummer or a presenter on radio I was also told I needed a back up plan, a real job.
A fully time served apprenticeship and 28 years later Im still here, only now, also presenting my own industry based podcast.
It started in 2024 when I had to break the truly devistating news my Dad had passed away. I still feel the shockwaves today that moved through the industry. In my deepest hours of no sleep, hurt, grief and anxiety I decided I needed to keep the conversations flowing, not just thoses Dad started and often never finished, but new conversations about him, the industry, past present and future.
The rest, I could say is history, but Id like to say the start of a new journey was born.

Its very simple. I always wanted to make a change and what better way to do that than talk to each other. For years the industry has had a very competitive edge and I think working together rather than working appart is the best way to move the amazing industry forward.
